Hollywood Park Race Track - November 2, 2008

Race 1 Picks: My House Rules. The last race at Oak Tree was the best overall effort of the field and gets Bejarano again with a good trainer in Peter Miller. He is the favorite, but think he is the best horse.

Race 5 Picks: Blushing Bear Cat. Blushing Bear Cat may not win often but the numbers show that she is fast enough if she just get in the clear. Being stuck down in the 2 post might be a problem. Early Anna is certainly one to look at, as the last is good enough to win this, but the layoff is the question.

Race 7 Picks: Moves Like a Cat. This is a tricky race, but the 8/9 effort wins this. I think Scottish Diamond is not quite fast enough, and Make Mine Vodka is about a length faster than him. In terms of value, Indian Weaver seems to be rounding back into form now that he has Doug O'Neill training him - he doesn't win often but could complete the exacta. Beau Smoke could be the sleeper here, maybe not for the win, but for the exotics, the question is form however coming off that layoff.
