Race 2 Picks: Wheaton Hall. He should take this. Ramsgate looks like he's lost a step, and 6F I think is a bit too short for him - note that all of Ramsgate's wins have come at 7F, but has never won at 6F. If they all run to recent form, Wheaton Hall should win.

Race 7 Picks: Scandalous. I think the 7F distance was a bit too much for him last time out at Oak Tree Santa Anita. When I look at the GHR Numbers for the horses that finished close to him, Dee Dee's Legacy and Swift Demand, and then look at the horses that finished close to Tenfold and Orientation Hall, it becomes plain that Scandalous was facing tougher competition. Army Officer can win if the horse that ran on 8/30/08 at Del Mar Race Track shows up, but obviously something happened last time, and is coming off a month and a half layoff with a questionable trainer, and moreover, there are some gaps in the work tab. Tough call, but I'll say the form isn't there for Army Officer. Watch for Grey Storm as one that just might outrun his odds, wheel underneath the trifecta (though doubtful for the win).
