Race 7 Pick: Ever So Pretty. This is a tough race, and in fact Dizzy up the Girl looks very good as well. There is the distinct possibility that Dizzy up the Girl and Rare Ribbon will get into a speed duel from the two inside posts, and even Ever So Pretty who springs out of the gate could be part of that. It is doubtful that these three will hold on for the top three spots. Dizzy and Pretty both have equal chances in my opinion but Ever So Pretty is the better price (8-1 ML) as opposed to Dizzy (5/2). Ever So Pretty faced Quisisana two races back, and that one was made the favorite in the $100,000 Cascapedia Stakes on October 26, 2008 at Oak Tree, and she actually ran pretty well finishing 4th. Even though the pace might be tough, the 6F is what she needs (and not a 1/16th longer!), and she just might be able to pull it off. I am not crazy about 4-1 ML King City Kitty. Tamerin is interesting as well, and if Mitchell has her ready, she has the right style and the pace could set it up for her stalking style.
