Race 1 Pick: Sixcess. He has the best GHR Number last two, has a solid trainer in Ron Ellis, and the horse he narrowly lost to last time, Star Nicholas, just took the On Trust Handicap last weekend. He will go favored as he should, but he could still be worth it.

Race 7 Pick: Brinson. He is stuck down at the rail, but he gets Victor Espinoza who is riding really well right now, so that will help (+Gomez and Bejarano are not riding in this one so that helps). Based on GHR Number Speed Figures and the horses he finished ahead of in his last race, his last race seems to be a stronger than Kbello's last synthetic track favorite (3-1 ML). He is moving up in class but I think his last race, which was a 20K claimer was stronger than a typical 20K claiming race. The trio of Carson's Copper, Quityerbellyaching, and Afleet's Design all came so close to each other that I would prefer to stand against those three. The horse that could be overlooked is Stormy Game who is working lights out. Maybe box Brinson and Stormy Game.
