Race 1: A Sassy Fusaichi She is coming off of a layoff and the trainer is not exactly a wizard at getting them ready off the layoff - However, if she can run back to either of of her two Hollywood Park performances, she can win. She appears to be able to stretch out based on the video replay. At least the workouts have been evenly spaced, if not particularly fast. At 7/2 I think she is worth a shot. I believe the ML 5/2 favorite Snow on Christmas is a bit overpriced here. GHR Speed Figures indicate her last two are a bit on the slow side for this race.

Race 3:Wood Art Throw out that last one which was on the turf and she is the winner if she can duplicate April 1st or even January 19th. E Bee Girl is one to look at as she is improving and comes close to Wood Art in terms of GHR Speed Figures. If Wood Art does not show up, E Bee Girl could very well be the one. Don't like Cape Diver at 8-1. Don't like Sheza Maneater at 2-1 ML. In fact Sheza Maneater looks way overpriced. Even if she runs to her November-December Hollywood Form she is still a few lengths behind Wood ARt and a couple behind E Bee Girl. At first I liked Stanford Dolly but now that I look at who she has run against, she may be outclassed here. Would recommend E Bee Girl and Wood Art Exacta Box.
