Horse Racing Betting Tips

One of the best horse racing betting tips is to play against a horse that just came off of a victory after having exerted itself to its absolute limit in doing so.

This Ones For Phil
This Ones For Phil and Pashito The Che

Such was the case in last Saturday's Sunshine Millions Sprint at Gulfstream Park. The race ended up being a two horse race between favorite This Ones for Phil and second choice Pashito The Che.

They engaged each other from the three-eights pole in an all out duel all the way to the wire, both of them giving their all, and neither giving an inch to the other at any point.

At the wire, This Ones for Phil ended up nosing out Pashito The Che in a race that neither deserved to lose.

Usually when a horse puts in an all out effort as both these worthy horses did, they ususually regress or even bounce their next race. Often these exertions fatigue them so greatly that when they are brought back too soon, they often do not put forth their best effort.

I don't mean to say no horse ever wins after putting up a huge effort, or never duplicates their previous effort. But I have seen many horses not perform quite as well the next time out after such a hard fought battle.

I think avoiding betting on either This Ones for Phil or Pashito The Che the next time they race might be a wise decision.
