Race 5 Pick: Thankfully According to GHR Speed Figures, this one has run about a length faster than Cato Major (7/2 ML). Thankfully is 5-1 ML, so if he goes off higher, I like him at a price. If Aunt Pink is in the form she exhibited the 8/30 at Del Mar Racetrack, she will win. She has shown evidence that lately her form is there but inconsistent, and has an inconsistent trainer. Its likely a win or finish up the track for Aunt Pink. Thankfully is the top pick though.

Race 6 Pick (the Las Virgenes): Stardom Bound / Navigator, Toro Bonito Straight Exacta Stardom Bound should win, all signs point to this one. Navigator looks like she might have the potential to do it, but I don't think she's ready. If anyone beats Stardom Bound I think it would be Navigator, but prefer to play underneath in the Exacta. Toro Bonito can't beat Stardom Bound but at 15-1 ML, I do think she can get 2nd. I can't explain her last race, but her prior 3 or 4 put her right there for the exacta. If you want a real longshot to put underneath in your trifectas, try Nan.

Race 9 Pick (the Strub): Slew's Tiznow. He was off just a bit awkwardly last time, and was looking for room a couple of time in the stretch and seemed to not switch leads for part of the stretch run. Think he is capable of better. NowNowNow is 8-1 ML to Slew's Tiznow at 5-1. If NowNowNow is even 5-1 I'd wager a bit on him as well.
